Seminars and Events> 2005 Advanced Satellite Aviation-weather Products Science Meeting

Description

On April 13 and 14, 2005, NCAR's Research Applications Laboratory will be hosting the 2005 NASA Advanced Satellite Aviation-weather Products (ASAP) Science meeting. This meeting will bring together scientists and engineers from NASA, NOAA, NCAR, FAA, and several UCAR universities

  • Location: NCAR's Foohills Laboratory in northeast Boulder (directions/map)
  • Lodging: Boulder hotel map and information
  • Parking: NCAR is constructing a new atmospheric chemistry lab at the Foothills Laboratory site and this has removed some of our normal parking spaces.  Parking should not be a problem in the morning, but things get tight later in the day.  While there are some designated visitor parking spaces, the parking lots are not controlled and attendees can park wherever they find a space.
  • Building Entry: Foothills Laboratory officially opens at 7:30 am.  Visitors should use the main entrance, on the south side of Building 2.  While there are no special security procedures in place, visitors are expected to sign in at the front desk before proceeding to the seminar room.  Prospective attendees who contact us in advance of the meeting will have their names on a list at the front desk to facilitate easy entry.
  • Seminar Room:   The meeting will be held in Foothills Laboratory’s Main Seminar Room (Room 1022), located in Building 2.
  • Cafeteria: The NCAR Cafeteria is open for breakfast at 7:30 and will be open for lunch from 11:30–13:30.
