REQUESTED ACTION #3.1: Ray Moy provide status report to Users via Roy Strausser within 6 months (by Apr07) regarding process for Aviation Users and Aviation Weather Info vendors to access these types of info.

End of Season Review: Benefits & Reduction in delay minutes (88,000)

3. Gene Wilhelm: Questioner, Jack May: Responder

Related to NGATS issues re Products vs. Displays.

Need additional emphasis on automation

4. Laurence Vigeant-Langlois:Questioner, Jim Ries, Responder

Is the Air Traffic community considering uplinking Airspace status info to the Flt Deck?

Answer: The CDM organization has considered this issue.

5. Gene Wilhelm: Questioner, Marilyn Wolfson & Roy Rasmuson: Responders

Expectation is that end users will not have to interpret the convection related info stored in the gridded database.  What are the plans to automate this interpretation.

 

REQUESTED ACTION 3.5: Marilyn Wolfson & Roy Rasmuson provide a summary to Users, via Gene Wilhelm within 6 months (by Apr07) regarding conceptual plan for display and application of convective forecast info from a gridded database. 

 

 

6. Tom Fahey: Questioner.  Responders: Kevin Johnston & Richard Heuwinkel. Status of funding and projects for Automated Aircraft reports to support convection forecasting.

 

REQUESTED ACTION 3.6a:  NWS, Kevin Johnston provide a report to Users via Tom Fahey within 6 months (by Apr07) regarding the NWS current and planned project expenditures for Automated Aircraft reporting of Water Vapor.

 

REQUESTED ACTION 3.6b:  FAA, Richard Heuwinkel provide a report to Users via Tom Fahey within 6 months (by Apr07) regarding the FAA current and planned project expenditures for Automated Aircraft reporting of Turbulence.

 

 

7. The Users have identified a number of CCFP improvements.
