The Israeli Air Force Evaluation project operational period ran during the month of November 2006. During that period, the RT-FDDA numerical weather prediction forecast system provided real-time analysis and forecast products to the operational forecasters in Israel. Data was collected and analyzed for the evaluation report, and several case studies will be conducted using interesting weather scenarios identified during this period.

The operational system used a 3-domain nested model configuration running at a fine-mesh resolution of 3.3km. 48 hour forecasts were produced every 6 hours throughout the operational period.
