This document lists the things that we want the SysAdmin people to do for every new machine added to our system.

• Make all of the data disks owned by the ncwf account
• Create a /var/www/ncwf directory owned by the ncwf account
• Create all of the following accounts:
  • ncwf
• Make sure we have the following command available:
  • ftp
  • pftp
  • emacs
  • netCDF suite
