Sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration's Aviation Weather Research Program and organized by the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Forecast Systems Laboratory. Invited speakers sponsored by NCAR (NCAR is sponsored by the National Science Foundation).
Working groups and leaders
The workshop program will include two sessions when working groups will meet. Attendees are encouraged to participate in one or two working groups during these times. Guidelines for the working group discussions will be provided at the meeting.

B. Advanced diagnostic methods: Mike Baldwin, Beth Ebert
C. Scaling and observations: Harold Brooks, Ed Tollerud
D. Ensemble verification methods: Laurie Wilson, Anna Ghelli
