Professional Interests

Assessing aviation user weather needs from pilots, dispatchers, air traffic controllers, meteorologists; implementing solutions to those needs and evaluating their utility; aviation human factors; uplink and downlink of weather information to airborne aircraft; technology transfer of aviation weather information to operations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in aeronautical engineering (1970)
MBA from Southern Illinois University (1974)
Master’s Degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology in physics (1982)
Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University in human factors and operations research (1986).
