Job Duties
Lead the FAA's Aviation Weather Research Program, coordinate inflight
icing studies at RAP, conduct research into icing environmental
characterization, detection, and forecasting, development of forecaster
training materials on aircraft icing. Serve as in situ instrumentation
editor for the Journal of Atmospheric and Oceanic Technology.
Professional Interests
Cloud physics, aviation weather, winter storms, inflight icing
detection and forecasting, remote sensing and in situ instrumentation.
