Number Four raison d'etre - Books & Literature. Literary Quiz - for fun. Bibliophilia. I must've been born with this malady - in my DNA. A memory quilt of books graces my life: Garden Villas library (a home converted into a library), the smell of books, sitting on the floor surrounded by books on dark, rainy afternoons, libraries, bookstores, Frankfort International Book Fair (heaven). Books give me comfort, security, escape, travel and they have saved my life on numerous occasions. I've always wanted to own a bookstore. I would call it Hands-on Books ... or maybe Bibliophilia. I can't come up with a "top ten books" list but maybe can come up with a Ten Books That Changed My Life list. Not an easy task since every book I've ever read has altered my life in some way. |
