MIR Database
MIR is a MySQL relational database designed to work in tandem with ATEC’s ARMADA database for observational data.
MIRs many improvements over the previous WXDB database include:
- Performance: improved table design; new metadata access
- Consistency: standardized station IDs and locations
- Precision: improved numeric types
- Extensibility: modular schema
- Robustness: data management and QC fields
