The view of Niwot ridge looking to the South from the basin above the unamed lake above Lake Isabelle. This photo was taken after a the first dusting of snow in September. Navajo Peak (B) is dominant. The rocky outcrop known as Dicker's Peck (C) is at the top of Navajo Snowfield.
Airplane Gully runs from the top of Niwot Ridge (A) down into the basin (D). Most of the wreckage is above the narrow point in the gully. As you go up the gully, veer right (to the West) into a branch gully to get to the aircraft.
One wing of the aircraft apparently slid down the gully to come to rest near point D and the photographs here are of that wreckage.
